This update has been called “The largest release of Minecraft ever” and there are several aspects of the server that will need to update before we can. I’ve listed them below and will mark them off as I see that they have been satisfied. So yep, more waiting. Sorry folks!
- Optifine update to 1.13 – Now available as a preview version.
- Spigot update to 1.13 – Waiting for 1.13.1 release, last item we’re waiting for. possibilities to do pure vanilla if we have to wait too long.
- Gamebreaking MC bugs fixed – Release 1.13.1 tomorrow should address these bugs.
- GriefPrevention plugin updated – version 16.8 is now 1.13 ready!
At the time when we update, there will possibly be a very very long downtime due to the entire world needing to go through a chunk optimization process.
weee.waiting sucks.. but despite the terrible news that the update is hard on modders, i hope they don’t disappoint us with their skills. Looking forward to my new base 🙂

spigot doesn’t seem to move any steps forward though 🙁

hey Q, you’ve been missed too! and thank you 🙂 i took a break for almost 2 years, since i was studying. but with the update the excitement came back. hope we see you soon on the server! would be nice to see old friends again 🙂
hmmm PURE VANILLA…might be actually good to try it out once…just the other day we talked about how we are being spoiled by the mobgriefing being disabled, as i built in an unprotected area and the creepers kept blowing off XD it was fun though hehe.
I am all for it, but i do hope that we DON’T need to wait too long for all the stable updates 🙂

Spigot 1.13.1 has been released, although it is still marked as unsafe and apparently it breaks the 1.13 plugins now :/
Did anyone btw test Optifine preview version? I have some information that for some people it works perfectly fine, for some it causes some troubles. I haven’t seen any troubles so far with it.
