Here are some final screens of my shop in the market district. The space is small, and I packed it pretty tight, but I think it still feels a bit too open. I am not sure what to do with the space, so I am really posting here for feedback as I am not sure I like my first draft.
Starting from the top
The Second Floor features Equine Eddie’s Crazy Horses which is a front for me selling junk horses really cheap. I really like the window sill but am still not sure about the counter
The First Floor is just a general trust shop for whatever extra materials I have. I would love to get a villager down here and break up the monotony of the chests, but don’t have much room to stagger or something. Behind the counter looks better in default, sorry for the texturepack, but I still would like to get some cool maps on that wall. If your base looks good on a map I would love to map it for that wall.
The top basement is the staff work area, the wall obscured by the bush is chests with bushes separating them. The anvil goes through the beacon and creates a really bad effect, but I can’t find a better block to put there.
The bottom basement is my home until I get over my love affair with a communal district such as ocean and move back to being a hermit off on some tunnel. The space is dominated by a ugly jeb-door that I will probably remove as soon as I find a way to make the secret door into the place 2-way. This houses my spawnpoint and some additional non-for-sale storage.
