Due to the recent influx of additions to the whitelist I’ve decided to hold off on accepting new applicants for a little bit. I do this every now and then to help stabilize the community.

Being new here, I obviously have nothing but positive things to say about this community and the server. Spork and I joined only a few weeks ago, but I appreciate Jackal’s Den so much that I actively campaigned to get my sister and her husband to apply for whitelist (they’ll be joining us soon). Spork and I are brand-spanking-new to Minecraft (according to my confirmation email, I bought the game August 15th), but we’ve already had run-ins with poorly-run public servers. Finding a semi-private, stable community where cooperation and inspiration are a matter of course has really opened the game up for us.
