I never thought of using the lava/water cobble mountain trick just to give something bulk, then carve what you want out of it afterwards. I am so stealing this.

So its been a few days, I’ve been on a little bit here and there but had my birthday over the weekend. I have decided to build biomes inside this massive dome, thought it would be a pretty cool project that way – something totally unpredictable from the outside.
So here are updates from Days 3-8:

Been clearing a lot, by hand, finally got a beacon also. And with TNT (Thanks to all who have donated gunpowder).

Stupid Endermen..

Made a wheat/sugar cane farming area near the top of the project:

Built some stairs from the very top area I built before – which connect to the small farms:

Did some minor decoration on the outside just to start to give it the right feel:

And to take a break from clearing cobble – I started my first little build inside the dome, a little fishing hut which will be cool for the 1.7 update.
