Hi, I’m Chris.

I am relatively new to Minecraft and a total PC noob. I have been spending most of my time playing on the Xbox. The Xbox has made it easier for the whole family to participate in MC. I purchased MC on the PC a while back, but really only used it to download doo-dads I wanted to build on the Xbox. I could walk around the machine on the PC and replicate it on the console. This week I decided to take the plunge and hit up a PC server. The unrestricted one I tried first was a little wild for me. There seemed to be a great deal of griefing going on even though they had safeguards installed. I applied here because I really would rather play *with* people than have to hide from them.

Speaking of family, I have 4 kids ranging in age from 21 down to 10, and a wife of 23 years. Oh, and my first grandchild due in Feb/Mar.

Thus far the server has been kinda kicking my butt. Several initial deaths has not done anything to alleviate my natural paranoia, so I’m currently hiding in a hole in the ground waiting for daytime again so I can emerge. I would like to give a special Thank You to whomever set up the cookie dispenser near North Spawn, it literally saved my virtual life.

I’m an incurable smart ass and have a rather dry sense of humor. I apologize in advance if I bug anyone with it. If I say something that sounds mean, I was aiming for funny.

I’m sure I will have zillions of noobish questions, I hope that won’t bother you all too much 😉
