Post Quck question about villagers and claims

I’ve come to notice that villagers will not enter a claimed area if they aren’t already inside it. Is there a workaround for this or a command that disables this? I’ve had a look in the grief protection video and a skim through the help commands, but couldn’t find anything specifically about allowing villagers to enter an area.

I was just thinking of expanding the claimed area to encompass the villagers but I’m hesitant because I don’t know how this will affect them. I hope it’ll just mean that they’ll roam the claimed area after the claimed area has been expanded past them. However I am wary that the villagers might just disappear entirely. Anyone know?

I ran a small test. Few villagers in a claim. They do not seem to be effected by the borders. Your villagers are trolling you. 🙂

Maybe the borders affect their ability to recognize housing, though?

Could be. Maybe something to do with door protection?
