I was speaking of Eve Online last week, and I quickly realized that I wasn’t the first person on the server to of ventured into Eve Online.
First a bit of a background on my Eve Online experience. I started back in 2010, and played till mid June of 2011, where I took a break for about 5 months and started around December of 2011 and played it until late 2012, It’s been a Good year since I’ve logged into Eve Online.
I wanted to extend the invitation to anyone that wishes to try out Eve Online for absolutely free. Instead of getting a 14 day trial, if you use the link that I provide for you. You will get a 21 day Free Trial instead. nearly a month of game play, which is more than enough to get you through the Tough learning curve( Which has been greatly reduced thanks to hands on tutorials that are easier to fallow than when I played)
Eve Online, is a Space Mmorpg sandbox style game, based in the universe of New Eden.
Here is a great video that answers 10 Important Questions a new player might have.
And one of my all time favorite videos in regards to Eve Online.
(Notice: I didn’t mention this but, Eve online is a PVP based game, and the game has no rules outside of Brute Force Hacking) Scamming, Piracy, Getting to the top of a corporation(guild commonly known as) and than stealing all their ISK( Gold commonly known as) ships etc are all legit.
Eve online is an amazing game, where anything goes, and everything that you as a player does, has an impact, in fact nearly everything you will see in Eve Online has been made by players, there are some npc stations that sold very basic items to get the universe going Eons ago, but everything you see is made. And it’s quiet amazing.
Let me know if you wish to have a 21 day free Trial, I plan on getting back into Eve in about 2 weeks.
Played a trial here and there, it’s my kind of game, I just don’t have the time to sink into it that I’d want to. I love playing games with spreadsheets and Eve takes it to a whole new level. I do play Dust 514 on rare occasions.
For anyone who isn’t aware, Dust 514 is an FPS set in the Eve universe. The end goal is to have people on the ground in Dust 514 waging war for the people in Eve. You put up a contract for a planet you’re going to attack in Eve, your opposition puts up a contract to help defend against you, and the people in Dust 514 battle it out. You gain bonuses in Eve if the people in Dust 514 win the battle, I believe they’re pretty substantial boosts too. Things such as disabling the planets defenses, making it a purely ship to ship battle.
